Lotusphere 2008
January 28th, 2008 Posted in LotusphereLotusphere 2008 was an exciting time for IBM and with this event, IBM showcased many of the technologies which are in the labs and currently being developed. Lotus Notes 8 beta for the Mac was finally released and from talking with some users, they are very happy with the performance of the application and are excited to see the final gold version. The highlight of the conference this year was Sametime. IBM once again reiterated the Sametime roadmap and demonstrated Sametime Unified Telephony and Sametime Advanced, both of which are expected to be released later this year.
